bioC networks with the EU database TRACES
bioC GmbH now offers the service for all inspection bodies to publish their EU certificates on the new EU database TRACES. By the end of 2023, all EU organic certificates must be available on TRACES throughout Europe.
Thus, bioC GmbH extends its service offer and ensures that the usual scope of services such as company- and product-specific monitoring of the validity of organic certificates will always remain up-to-date.
About bioC
bioC is an initiative of organic certification bodies, associations from the organic food sector (BÖLW and IFOAM) and service providers.
The certification status of all organic suppliers listed with bioC is continuously checked and updated. Companies that want to have the certificates of their suppliers monitored register at www.bioC.info. In a password-protected account, they can create their own supplier lists, which bioC monitors automatically. If a supplier on the list no longer has a valid EU and/or association certificate, the list owners are automatically informed. Individual products on certificates can also be monitored. List holders are immediately notified as soon as an individual monitored product changes its status or is no longer listed on the supplier certificate.
Interested users are offered a test account by bioC to try out the functionalities free of charge. Use only becomes chargeable when more than five suppliers are added to the supplier list.
